Self Employed Individuals

Hammersmith & Fulham Mind is now recruiting for self employed individuals to fill in the occasional cover that may arise from time to time in our mental health and housing related services.

You will be a team player, have experience of providing planned support for people with primarily long-term mental health issues living in a supported accommodation.

You will be required to have an understanding of the issues facing people with long-term mental health and be aware of the range of resources and services that are available to this client group. You should have a working knowledge of Supporting People requirements work to QAF standards.

You will be self-employed in this role, a good communicator and have an understanding of the Mental Health and mental Health Capacity Acts and be able to deal with care or support plans.  We expect people with a friendly and professional attitude to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Prior experience in a similar position will be advantageous.
