The Day Service is open five days a week and is available to all borough residents experiencing mental health issues.

The Day Services is User Run, most of the groups are either facilitated or co – facilitated by service users. They also produce a quarterly newsletter. There is a monthly Open Forum where members contribute to the development of the centre.

Groups:

Music Workshops
Runs twice a week Mondays & Fridays, music recording on Tuesdays.

Internet & Computer
Runs throughout the weekly with internet access available.

Film & Video Production
Monday evenings Members create and edit their own films.

Art
Runs weekly on a Tuesday between 11- 1pm.

Women’s Group
The members of this group participate in various activities and regularly go on outings.

Drama Group
The members of this group have the opportunity to write short scripts or plays, which is then performed and made into short films. There are also opportunities to participate in film projects in general.

Scrabble & Games
This group runs weekly on a Friday.

Therapeutic Groups

We have two groups which are running for a limited period only:
• Dance & Movement Therapy
• Drama Dance & Movement Therapy

Drop – In
The Drop–In runs 3 days a week, Mondays & Thursday between 4 – 8pm and Sundays 12 – 4pm. Hot meals drinks and refreshments are served. A variety of activities are held throughout the month including: Thursday night competitions, quiz nights, cinema night and bingo – with plenty of prizes!

Refreshments are served every day throughout the week free of charge.
